AJ...Breathe!!!

Anyone who knows me know that I am a huge, huge, HUGE fan of the ABC hit drama, "Grey's Anatomy". I been on this show since the very first episode series premier and never missed on air date. Not a one. And it is a REQUIREMENT that I was each and every episode LIVE every Thursday night. In fact, I remember when it used to be on Sundays after "Desperate Housewives", my 2nd favorite show. When the program schedule changed, I didn't even think twice about giving up "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (you know, the one in Las Vegas). I have so many memories, I could go on but I'm not because I'm already rambling.

Anyway, I wanted to talk about this season's 2 hour finale episode that aired this past Thursday night. You see, it all started right after last week's episode with this preview:

Then came this trailer:

And you just KNEW my ass would be glued to the television. No calls, no talking, no interruptions. Just me, Grey's and my fellow GA fans on Twitter. Oh, hell fuckin' YASSSSSS!!! Countless times I've held my breath for long intervals, nearly going blue and passing out. Twice...I repeat, TWICE...tears fell from my eyes against my will. I paced, did breathing exercises...I was a frickin' nervous wreck!! That crazy ass muthafucka walked up in that hospital and shot Reed point blank...dead in the fuckin' forehead!! And Alex just HAD to walk around that corner. But LAAAAAWWWWWWDDDD!!!! It got so bad when that fool dragged Bailey from under that bed. I rejoiced when that bitch lied for her life!! And that other girl...the annoying one with the crush on McDreamy...yeah, that bitch. Bitch can fuckin' talk like a muthafucka!!! I needed a damn translator, lol. Lawd, then what happened with Derek and Mer losing her baby...ooh, I can't tell y'all the whole damn thing because I know most of y'all already watched it, and if you didn't, get your ass online now!! Chiiiile, I had to grab a drink and go sit outside to calm my damn nerves. I ain't lyin! *Madea voice*

But I can tell you this...Chandra Wilson (Bailey) better sweep the fuckin' NAACP Image, Golden Globes, Emmy's...matter fact, she better get a fuckin' OSCAR!!! Homegirl put on a show like it would be her last!! Yes, dare I say, she shits all over your favorite actress. Within a span of 2 hours, Grey's done shitted on every fuckin' show ever created and shown in the history of television. No lie. Their entire next season will have to top these 2 hours.

*Side note: please excuse the profanity. I'm still reeling from the excitement of the show. Plus, it's my fuckin' blog and I will do and say what the FUCK I want!

I'm back...now help me shut the hell up

Hi.

So...I been neglecting this blog. Sorta.

I haven't done some writing for you guys in a while. Blogging my thoughts, creative writing skills...just posting entertainment stuff. Funny thing that I already have a tumblr for that stuff. Anyway, I thought I'd come back here and ramble about some stuff y'all probably don't care about. Well, this week brought up something interesting and that really irks me. And y'all know when something irks me, my lips start moving. In this case, my fingers.

So, there's this saying..."Some people should never have children." Boy oh boy, is this true or what? Let's say you know someone with a 3 year old child. They've been teaching the kid the ABC's and 1-2-3's - how to recognize and write them. In your opinion, the kid's doing pretty damn good for their age, probably better than those twice his/her age and already in Pre-kindergarten. But the parent, you know, has this HUGE attitude problem and is letting it out on the child. Yelling, cussing, jerking them around, threatening to hit the kid anytime they don't write perfectly the way you want or don't immediately recognize some letters. And by hit the kid, I mean "beat the kid's ass". Did I mention that the kid's only 3 YEARS OLD???? Not 6, not 10...but 3!!!

Now the kid's all terrified and terrorized that any sudden smacking of the lips and movement from the parent, the kid freaks out and start crying. The parent already spanks the child for EVERY. LITTLE. THING. But...let's say that one day, you witness the parent hit that child in the back with their fist? Because the child didn't write the letter B the right way? Remember...3 years old. Now you know, I'm not one to tell somebody how to raise their kids but there are some things you just don't do, and that was one of them. It took EVERY-FUCKIN'-THING in me not to open my mouth. This is a person that I'm related to and this happened in my place of residence, which they're staying with me for a couple of weeks. We already had a big argument last month and I cut off communication to allow that immature still-stuck-in-high-school "adult" to grow up. So if I say something, there's going to be Hell in this house.

If you're trying to teach a child something, you have to do it with a calm attitude because that child will respond better. They can learn better and faster. A child can recognize your attitude and demeanor, and they react on that. If you're always yelling or cussing or raising your hand with some bad attitude, that child will not be able to focus on the task at hand but will instead remember your demeanor and will be scared of what you will do. If the kid sees you have a calm, nurturing and warm attitude while trying to teach them, they'll respond better and actually learn because they can focus on the subject at hand. Unfortunately, that crazy, dumb ass that had the child didn't see the damn difference when I took over the teaching.

I was told that sometimes it's best to not say anything because you'll never get anywhere with some hard-headed fools. This parent is a hard-headed fool. I'm trying that out for the first time...and dammit, it's hard. I'm not sure how long I can keep this up though. Eventually, my lips are going to start moving. And I'm going to need one of y'all to go down to County with $500 of bail money...

I was wondering maybe...

Artist: Alicia Keys featuring Drake
Song: Unthinkable (I'm Ready)
Album: The Element of Freedom

This is one of my favorites off the Element of Freedom. I love the video except for the ending. This is shaping up to be a big hit. I’m glad she went with this song as a single instead of the one with Bouncy. I don't think that song has a chance at all.

New Releases: Toni and Trina

The first comes from a diva that's been in the game since '93 when she couldn't "Breathe Again" after singing "Another Sad Love Song" for "Seven Whole Days" on her classic self-titled debut album. Soon after, she spilled all of her Secrets, her sophomore album, also a classic masterpiece. She had us begging to "Un-break My Heart", got sexy on "You're Makin' Me High", and told us about how he was "Talkin' in His Sleep". The she dropped The Heat on us, letting us know that "He Wasn't Man Enough" and she told him to "Just Be A Man About It". After that, she lost steam but she was still More Than A Woman and told him to "Hit the Freeway". The Libra side coming out of her, she told those bitches "Please" back up off out her face and leave her man alone. Ladies and gentlemen, Miss Toni Braxton as come back to give us another chapter after finding her PULSE, her new album which is now in stores today. The album features the singles "So Yesterday" (including a remix with Trey Songz), "Make My Heart", and "Hands Tied". So far, unfortunately, all singles have failed to take off. There's barely any promotion and no buzz surrounding this album. I've been expressing my disappointment for this project but it's sad that this talented soulful woman cannot catch a break. However, this time it is her and the label's fault. Tracks leaked practically every 2 seconds, currently just over 25 total. Of all those tracks, eleven of them were selected for the album, with a select couple remastered. This doesn't take away from it being a good album because it is indeed a good one (still a few non-selected songs were much better than half of those on the disc). Noteworthy tracks include "Why Won't You Love Me?", "Hero",  and "Pulse". Get the deluxe edition on iTunes and you'll get the sassy bonus track, "The Wave". I wish Miss Toni the Tigress the best. Grade: B-

Trina finally drops her long-awaited (seriously, who was actually waiting besides a few of the Kidsz?) album, Amazin'. You know I only care for this one for 2 reasons: the current R&B hit "Always" and "I Want It All", the 2 tracks featuring my girl Monica, who steals the spotlight on both tracks. The album also features the hit flop single, "Million Dollar Girl" featuring Keri Flopson and (annoyin' ass) Diddy, and the Lady Gaga-assisted "Let Them Hoes Fight". You got 2 choices: buy it or bootleg it. You know which one I did...

New Video: Beyonce's cool but I love "Bouncy"

Song: Why Don't You Love Me?

So much for taking a break. It’s a nice video, good visuals but nothing to write home about. As usual, Bey is looking seXXXy. I see she’s showing off her 16 undeserved Grammy awards for disposable lack of quality. (Roll-eyes) Anyway, as for the song, I don’t care for it. Nice vocals but that’s it. You know the stans are going crazy right about now. I just SMH. At least I have her ass to look at. Oh, and her boobies
